This dress is very flattering for a plus size bride. The structure of the dress was heavily altered to change the style. The zippered back was removed and a corset was added. The train was also removed so there is just a very slight extra length in the back. Nothing was done to the sides, top or back for fit purposes. It was altered for height (I'm 5'2" and wore a small heel). The detail work on the top is absolutely beautiful, the waist and hip area is very flattering and lays nicely. The dress itself was $900 but the work of the amazing seamstress at Alfred Angelo for the corset and train removal added quite a bit to the cost. The dress looks like it came with a corset, it was done VERY well. The label size is a 20... I am a street size 20 as well. The dress is ivorny in color and will need to be dry cleaned. There is makeup around inside of the dress and some dirt on the bottom where the dress touched the ground.
